Astrology and Panchang Disclaimer

Astrology is a traditional belief system. Astrological interpretations and auspicious-time recommendations should not be regarded as scientifically established predictions or guarantees. Astronomical calendar calculations and interpretations of their religious significance serve different purposes.

Drik Ganita and calculation differences

Calendar Marathi uses Drik Ganita for its Panchang calculations. Published place-dependent times use Mumbai, Maharashtra as the reference location, in Indian Standard Time (IST), unless a page states otherwise. We use the open-source VedAstro project to cross-check sunrise and sunset; this does not imply certification or endorsement by its maintainers.

Tithi, nakshatra and observance entries can differ between calendars because of calculation settings, the location used, or religious date-selection rules. Drik Ganita and Vakya Panchangam follow different computational approaches. A difference should be checked against the method, location and tradition concerned.

Predictions and personal decisions

Any horoscope or astrological interpretation presented on this website is general guidance within its belief tradition. It cannot guarantee a future event or an individual outcome.

Use your own judgment when applying calendar information. For a marriage or other religious ceremony, consult a priest familiar with your location and tradition. Medical, financial and legal decisions should be discussed with a qualified professional in the relevant field. Calendar entries and astrological interpretations do not replace that advice.

Dates and local timings

The 2027 tables use the monthly calendar records supplied for this website. Sunrise, sunset and rashi examples use Mumbai reference data and Indian Standard Time (IST). Timings can differ by location and by the calculation or observance convention used.

A tithi can end during the day or after midnight. Where a record uses a time above 24:00, it refers to the following civil date; for example, 25:42 means 1:42 AM the next day. Retain any before, after or time-window qualification printed with a note.

A named festival and a daily tithi entry can use different date-selection rules. Shubh Divas is a general calendar annotation and should not be treated as a wedding or other ceremony-specific muhurat.

Check before making arrangements

Verify the date and local timing with the Panchang tradition you follow before arranging a ceremony. Festival lists are not official public, school or bank holiday notifications. Check the relevant notification for closures and working days.

We aim to correct reported errors, but cannot guarantee that every image, translation or table is complete or free from mistakes. If you see a disagreement, please report the exact page and date before relying on that entry.
